Add to that, the framework of Plato's Republic being the glue stitching the entire season together (vs. last season's Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon) and you have something never seen on television.
If Season 2, Episode 6 doesn't win an Emmy all by itself, the industry is #&$^ in the head. You have an entire episode that takes place in the final second of the previous episode, and before the first second of the following episode (think of it as an interlude), which completely explains the reaction and realization of what the heck is going on... and does so admirably, by displaying exactly what the character is dealing with. I thought the "X" symbol for the X-men was a giveaway in the "O" in Legions cover art :P
@Godless - The 2010 movie and this series have nothing to do with each other ... the movie is a story about Archangel Michael and Legion is a Marvel owned series where the main character is Charles Xaviers mutant son .... its all about psychic, subconscious manipulation and spirit walking between dimensions.
