Without going into much detail I think The Expanse has solidified itself as one of the best Sci-Fi series of all time. Not often do I get physically pumped during an episode but during the ending with this one I sure was. The performance from Holden (Steven Strait) this episode was phenomenal and the...mystery character (No spoilers :D) was just as good. I'm extremely excited to see how this will play out and I'm glad Amazon has picked up the series.
Masterpiece . amazing story , characters , acting , scenery etc.... everything is on point
The #SaveTheExpanse campaign appears to have been successful, with Amazon reportedly on the verge of closing a deal to revive the show for a fourth season.
It isn't cancelled for sure. Syfy won't renew, but Alcon fully owns the show and will shop around on other networks interested. It seems Syfy launches 1 show after another looking for a massive cash-maker but Sci-Fi always gives slower returns. It's not a "trend" phenomenon. Firefly was an example of low success in dollars but everyone wishes it could return. Same as Dark Matter (also cancelled by Syfy)
very realistic space battles in this one... so much so that even Adam Savage was wildly in love with is and requested a guest roll hehe
Im lost. I thought id read the books however have we caught up yet? Does another season appear forthcoming?
I loved the first season, thought the show was very fresh and had a pulling plot. Second season is starting to lose its appeal to me, as the original plot is mostly unveiled and it just feels like any other show, but in space. It doesn't help that the main caracter is all goody goody, i miss Miller.
' The Expanse ' is what Sci-fi fans have yearned for years. The storyline and script are great in that it doesn't over-reach and commits to rational possibilities that could confront humanity in the next century as humanity expands into the galaxy. Major kudos to the producers and staff who have created the greatest sci-fi series of all-time.
Episode 5 is top notch - glad to see the basic molecule plot has not been strung along for the whole series.
2 episodes in 1 for the start of season 2, and it looks like it will be an amazing as well!
i initially read the books then imagine my surprise to see it serialised. I loved the books and the series seems just as good, i love it. Its really drawn me in so far, i watched all of season 1 in 2 days!!!
Intelligent story that fully engaged the viewer from the first episode. This is scifi done right. Love it.
Brilliant series, surprising that Syfy came up with something this good. Must watch!!!
One of the best sci-fis produced in the last few years, really nice special efffects and an awesome and mysterious plot, with action throughout!!
Syfy actually making a fantastic sci-fi series, who would have ever guessed ? After episode 3 I was hooked
Finaly after years and years after Star Trek and Babylon 5 a new well made show. I hope that it continues to get better and better.
Good show. If the admins manage to sort out episodes 2 from 3 and bring it in a proper manner, I'll keep watching it. Ep.3 has 344 links (so far) of Ep.2 -.-
I was hooked almost immediately. The story is great so far, acting is above average, and it has a high production value considering the network. Finally some true science fiction! This is the second show from SyFy that they have produced in the last year that I am impressed with (12 Monkeys being the other)...that is impressive since they basically have had only one really good show to their credit since they came on the air. Judging by the production value, I would say that SyFy is attempting t
Finally a sci-fi series that has a believable future in it! Makes it seem way more real, scary and also fascinating! I can only recommend it!
I'm really interested in seeing what happens. Good acting and effects and I enjoy sci-fi :)
@Briarius You are watching what happens in the book too. You don't need to read the books to follow the show. I'm sorry it's too complicated for you, but multiple plot lines are in every book, TV show, movies...etc. But trust me, all the characters come together. You're truly missing out on a great story. Book and show.
It just all seems to be a huge clusterfook. From what others wrote, it is based on books, sadly nobody had the idea to make the story accessable for those who havent read the books. It seems to be made in pulp fiction style, several stories running at the same time, randomly switching from one to another, with a barely visible connection between them.
